GLTS organised cake baking session with Meenakshi Amma from Amma Samayal on 23rd May 2020. It was a bake along session for kids from all age group and the baking session comprised Rainbow cup cake and Chocolate Fudge brownie. Kids baked the cakes, with the help of parents and guest baker, Meenakshi Amma, who guided the entire session with her step by step instructions offered in a simple narrative and hilarious manner.
Kids had loads of fun baking this cake and the outcome was scrumptiously delicious cup cake and brownie. Meenakshi Amma also provided tips on the natural food colouring which can be used as a substitute of food colouring for the rainbow cake. We had feedback from lot of mums/kids on their first successful baking and some disastrous baking as well :). Below is the compiled video of the delicious cakes baked by our little ones.
This was a fund raising event to support our NHS staff. We baked Rainbow cake to extend our gratitude for the NHS staff and key-workers, who risk their life on daily basis to keep us safe.
